Hi! It's Kaitlin and Patrick of Eraflora Farm located in Jacksonville, FL.

Our flower farming journey started in our front yard. Though it can be traced back to Kaitlin's life long love of flowers - some of her earliest memories are lining her hair with blooms that her great-grandmother encouraged her to pick from the neighbor's yards. However, it was during the planning of Kaitlin and Patrick's wedding that she realized there were gaps in her floral knowledge, sparking an obsession to fill them in.

In 2022, Kaitlin, through a summer of working for a local urban flower farm and dabbling in floral design, realized she was determined to make this passion for flowers a profession. Kaitlin decided to leave her corporate job to begin working as a wedding floral designer for a local wedding company and after designing for over 100 weddings quickly learned first hand of the floral industry's grave environmental impact.

Simultaneously, it was decided to transform the front lawn into a cutting garden with the hopes of enjoying more sustainable blooms and continue the excitement for what it means to grow firsthand. Kaitlin formed a deeper obsession spending all of her free time getting into the soil. Patrick, having grown up around farming, was naturally then enlisted in all of the garden projects - building beds, planting, irrigation and more. Together our passion turned into a crazy idea to begin growing for sustainable production on a larger scale. With a great deal of help from family, we were able to find and purchase a couple acres in Northwest Jacksonville, FL creating Eraflora Farm in 2024.

Our journey continues today as we cultivate our dream flower farm and offer the flowers of our labor with our community. As two budding farmers who love to share blooms as we grow, we sincerely thank you for joining us on this heartfelt endeavor; your support means the world to us!
